We just completed an extensive interior remodel, including gutting the main floor and upstairs bathroom & hallway and redoing exterior siding. All new kitchen, dining, and living room and added a bathroom. Noel gave us an ETA of 5 months for this project. Then, the pandemic struck, and even in this state of supply shortages, vendors unexpectedly closing quarantine delays, and additional work change orders, our project was completed in 7 months. We were really impressed with this outcome!

"Cannot say enough good things about this great construction company!
We hired Noel and his team to renovate our home in Sea Cliff from top to bottom in a complex project that took over a year to complete. He oversaw seismic work, the installation of a car turntable, all new electrical and plumbing, reconfiguration of several rooms, installation of wainscoting, soundproofing, and radiant heat.
Noel is extremely professional, thorough and skilled and his finished work is above and beyond. He and his team were extremely respectful of the neighbors throughout the project with noise and parking issues, so much so that one neighbor sent the crew pizza for being so thoughtful. When does that ever happen?!
He was always easy to reach and responded immediately to any communication. To this day, when we think of something we would like to add to our home, Noel is always there for us. He brainstorms solutions to everything! He will leave no stone unturned in helping you find the right solutions for your project.

"We have remodeled a few homes over the years and have had some very good contractors and for the last one, we used Stonebridge Construction and Noel Kirby. I can honestly say that he is head and shoulders above the rest. It was a high-end, 15-month project.
The reason it took so long is that we were always adding projects that were not in the original plan; some were minor, some were major, such as structural upgrades and a new heating system. No matter how unusual or odd the request, the answer was always, 'No problem!'. Noel is absolutely unflappable and extremely knowledgeable about the many steps of a remodel. He is also very creative in helping craft solutions to problems and sees them through to completion. Another thing we appreciate is that he has great subcontractors who are equally adept and flexible when we would run into snags, that this older home was replete with!.
One example: the home had radiators throughout and while we had not planned on taking them all out, midway into the project we asked if we could get rid of the ones on the main floor (after the HVAC had been installed on the top floor, mind you). In his calmest voice he said, 'No problem, we'll just install radiant heat from the garage and lower level room ceilings, (which were still open at the time) without needing to take up the wood floors'.
The house is beautiful, we love our contractor and so will you. I would recommend Noel and Stonebridge without hesitation"

"I worked with Noel and his team on a gut remodel of the kitchen in my Victorian flat. The project involved demolishing a wall to create a peninsula between the kitchen and dining, soundproofing the ceilings, installation of all new cabinetry, and updating the electrical and plumbing.
From the get-go, Noel was prompt, responsive, and worked on schedule. He came out to view the project, worked up an estimate within about a week, and was able to begin work about 6 weeks after I hired him. He told me the project would take about 6 weeks to complete, and he was right on schedule. His subs all did excellent work and were helpful with decision-making on the fly (a huge perk if you are working without a designer as I did). Noel is also really helpful with decision-making, such as where to place cabinet pulls, how much of an overhang looks good for countertops, etc.
Noel is calm, capable, and extremely hard working. He and his team are respectful and a real pleasure to have around, which is so important when you consider that they are going to be in your home daily for many weeks! I'll definitely be working with him again in the future. Can't recommend him highly enough."

"Noel is terrific. Highly recommended. Easy to work with, honest and hard-working and quite organized.
His pricing is fair and he knows the local code and knows how to deal with the building department and inspectors when needed.
He has done two projects for me. One included the total gut - down to studs - and remodel of a kitchen, replaced a deck, coordinated new electrical, plumbing, and painting in a flat. When there were issues with the cabinets that I had ordered, he worked with me to get them corrected.
He also gutted and remodeled a bathroom in a commercial unit to comply with ADA requirements. He followed the architectural plans perfectly. When I wasn't certain about the tile, he accompanied me to the supplier, helped me choose appropriate tiles, and even brought them to the job site.

"Noel at Stonebridge Construction is an absolute gem.
I met him through a remodel that my upstairs neighbors completed on their condo. I was impressed by his work and started to pick his brain re: my project which was a complete build-out of a ground-floor unit with an attached staircase to my condo. He had me visit a project that he was doing nearby and I was able to see his work on a total gut of a 3-unit building.
I met with three contractors on my project. I had to keep reminding two of the contractors to even get a quote back. Noel was responsive and had great follow-through so it was an easy decision to move forward with him. The project has been going on for four months and we have just a couple of last things to go. Every step of the process has been smooth thanks to his project management. He's remained on schedule, has communicated very clearly any variances to our budget (which has been really minimal and more driven by my "upgrades"), and has been very involved. We've had two after-hours emergencies which weren't even directly related to him and both times, he was at the house within 15-minutes to address. I've been really happy with all of the subcontractors he has used on the project as well. The architect that he partners with (he'll also work with client's architects) were also top-notch.
On top of everything, he's just a really nice guy that I don't mind seeing in my house almost every day. He always has a calm demeanor and seems to have a solution for every "surprise" my 100-year-old building throws at him. My 3-year-old is smitten with him and enjoys watching him and the teamwork. I've also witnessed how respected he is by the city building inspectors, which we all know is huge when you are trying to get things done in the city.
I will use Noel for all future projects that I have. I have already connected him with three very close friends for projects that they have.
